The Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon and Medtronic TC 10 Mile are on the first Sunday in October. The first Twin Cities Marathon was run in October 1982.

The marathon and ten mile start near the HHH Medtrodome in downtown Minneapolis and finish on the State Capitol grounds in Saint Paul. Detailed maps of both areas as well as instructions for race morning, can be found in the Official Participant Guide mailed in September or online at www.mtcmarathon.org.
