Station 4 is the new incarnation of “the Lab”. The Lab was strictly a metal venue. While Station 4 continues to host touring and local metal acts, there are also shows from other genres, such as ska and hip-hop shows. Station 4 is located in the heart of historic lower St. Paul. It is across the street from the Union Depot.

Parking can be extremely challenging and there is no free parking available. Try the pay-box lots across the street or the parking garage adjacent first, and if these are full, you might have to venture even further. Inside, it is surprisingly big space, there is plenty of space for a large crowd. The space is quite open so there are good sightlines to the stage. The sound is also really quite good here.

The new owner has also added new beer taps and imported beers like Guinness, Bass and Newcastle are now available.
