End details for The Dubliner - Twin Cities

The Dubliner is a super laid-back neighborhood Irish pub. It hosts a great atmosphere alongside an epic selection of beer and whiskey. There is live music every evening starting at 9.30, except Sundays when the Dubliner holds an extremely popular pub quiz; word on the street is that it’s one of the best to be found in the Twin Cities. On Wednesdays the pub hosts Irish Ceili dancing starting at 7pm. The dancers are typically very happy to teach newcomers.
The crowd is dominated by locals snacking on the complimentary popcorn (made with a true old school popcorn machine!), sipping the superb black and tans (your choice - Harp or Smithwick's) and tossing darts.
The Dubliner is a great place to drink if you are looking for a classic Irish pub experience, a Guinness or whiskey (try the Red Breast for a real treat!) and an environment that allows for conversation and play.

One reviewer writes:
“It should be no surprise that an Irish town like St. Paul boasts a fine Irish pub like the Dubliner. If places like Brit's and Kieran's are the William Butler Yeats of the Irish pubs, the Dubliner is the lead singer of the Pogues. Always full of folks having a good time, I don't think I've ever been there and not heard a good live Irish folk band play. There are plenty of dart boards available as well.”
