The Happy Gnome has a very friendly atmosphere, whether you sit at the granite bar and chat up the bartenders, or in the elegant dining room, or even in the cozy fireplace room.
This bar is best known for its fantastic beer selection. There are a staggering amount of crafted microbrews on tap, many of which you simply can’t find any other place in the Twin Cities. They also carry over 100 unique beers in the bottle. You beer connoisseurs out there will be pleased to know that the Happy Gnome offers the perfect glass and the perfect pour for whichever of the many beers you might choose. The bartenders and servers are extremely knowledgeable about beer and pairing.
Besides the great beer selection, this place also has a really cool and unique menu. Try out dishes you’ve never even heard of, let alone tried – Duck confit bruschetta or braised venison osso bucca anyone? How about butternut squash gnocchi or seared diver sea scallops? Head to the Happy Gnome and try something new!
The Happy Gnome also offers brunch from 11.30am to 3pm on Saturdays or Sundays, where you can enjoy the build your own bloody mary bar or mimosas, along with great brunch fair, plus live jazz every Sunday.
Specials are also available. Monday through Friday four to six pm, enjoy one dollar off drinks. Thursdays from seven to ten special cask ale tapping events go on and you can try out new beers. On Sunday evenings from 6pm to 1am, half priced bottles of wine are also up for grabs.
