Letting their Turkish roots shine through in their decor, coffee, and tea selections, Mapps owners Yildiz and Erdoan Akguc have created a coffee house that encompasses all corners of the globe. Involvement with the local community inspires conversation at events that are hosted in the cafe.
The West Bank location on the corner of Cedar and Riverside Avenues draws college students, visitors, and neighborhood residents. The shop is spacious and perfect for catching up with a friend or cramming for an exam. Sunday mornings are often the most relaxing.
A second location at the Midtown Global Market is also open. Mapps also offers whole bean coffee roasted on site. The East African Tea is unlike any other, make sure to check it out!

This place is so cute! I loved studying here and drinking the East African Tea when I had breaks between class on the West Bank. Glad to see they're still doing well!
